"I love this profession, there really is nothing quite like it!"
After face painting for a few years, I decided it would be a most worthy exercise to find out where it all started and how it has become so popular as it has today.
It has been a part of native tribes and their culture for thousands of years, for war and for celebration.
In more recent times though it would seem we have the Hippy Revolution to thank for the rise of the modern face and body art culture.
From your volunteer face painter to the likes of World Body Art Festival, it seems the sky is the limit.
Products have come along way from what was once an exta service provided by a clown to a full blown profession of work from home parents and those so talented they travel the world teaching their niche to other painters that want to refine their art of face and body painting.
